Scan Tool Power

The NYVIP OBD II Scan Tool is powered by battery voltage at DLC pin 16. In rare instances, damage to the DLC or a blown vehicle fuse can prevent scan tool operation.

The OBD II Scan Tool has a power indicator that glows green when the scan tool is being properly powered through the DLC.
