Waiver Form (Part One)

Under some circumstances a Waiver of the emission inspection may be offered.

There are five conditions for receiving a waiver:

1) The vehicle must pass the Safety and ECD inspections, including gas cap.

2) The cost of needed repairs, excluding replacement of missing ECD components and warranty repairs, must exceed the waiver limit.

The waiver limit is $450, adjusted for inflation. Repair costs must be emissions related to apply toward the waiver limit. Replacement costs for missing ECD components do not apply to the waiver limit, however.
